This Is Dãƒâ©jãƒâ  Vu All Over Again

Thinks you might want to try again.

  • Disable (preferrably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before attempting the upgrade.
  • Restart a few times and effort again.
  • Disable General USB Devices (example - Smart Menu Reader).
  • If you are using a SCSI hard deejay, make sure you have drivers available for your storage device on a thumdrive and it is connected. During Windows ten setup, click the Custom Advanced Option and use the Load Driver command to load the appropriate driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not piece of work and setup still fails, consider switching to a IDE based hard deejay.
  • Practise a clean boot and try over again.
  • If you lot are upgrading using the .ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during setup, if you are connected by LAN (Ethernet) or Wi-Fi, disable both and attempt setup again.
  • If you are updating through Windows Update, when the download reaches 100% disconnect from the Net LAN (Ethernet) or Wi-Fi and proceed with the installation.
  • If that does not work, try using the .ISO file to upgrade if possible.
  • If you are connected to a domain, switch to a local account
  • If you take any external devices attached to the motorcar, disconnect them (case, gaming controllers, USB keys, external hd, printers, non-essential devices).

Can you or another kind helper please tell me how to access the downloaded Windows x update in my computer please and so that I can endeavour to reinstall it. I'yard trying all that y'all inquire, but the thing will not install. I'm seriously non re-downloading it all over again for a fourth time. I but do not take the information left, nor the money to buy any more data.

Is this upgrade non available for free on a disc so that I can install it myself without all of these hassles? I cannot even find the download in my system to try to re-install information technology?

I'thou seriously having 2d thoughts most using Windows 10 if problems have already arisen before I can even get the matter to install properly onto my super computer. If it will not even install properly then it already looks to me like it is a candidate for Windows eight'due south lemon status. This is causing me to go the warning bells already: First Net Explorer, and then Windows 8, and now Windows 10, although hopefully I will turn out to be very wrong nearly the tertio.

I'm seriously having trouble getting this installed. I've just found out today that the upgrade has used however ANOTHER three whole gbs of my precious data still all again re-downloading this infernal upgrade for the FOURTH time now, even although I do not have this upgrade ticked to exercise so. I did non give information technology permission to re-download the upgrade, yet it is doing so even tho it is non  ticked in "optional" updates to do so. There is even enough room in my OS HDD for it to be installed to, however I go given an oblique code that says I need to disable what e'er it is to move this matter frontwards and get it installed. It's not retrying to install when I restart the computer either and every time I try to click on the upgrade history in updates it starts information technology'southward rigmarole re-downloading again which I already take, the gods know where, somewhere in my HDD

I merely want to notice where ane of these downloads is so that I tin endeavor to re-install the thing. This has gone from a mission to grind to an expensive impediment.

Who is MS kidding?  Windows 10 Upgrade is in no manner gratuitous!

Over the by six months I've spent literally days, if non weeks of my time, waiting in telephone queues, staring at a PC that requires responding to "Try Once again" on a network glitch, getting "UnKnown" errors, that thousands take seen as well, only to accept "Restoring your previous version of Windows" (Win 7 Prof. 64) shoving me back to downloading Once more over a supposed "high speed" connexion that drops without my provider taking responsibility.  from MS'due south CEO to the lowers support person, none of them would work those hours without bounty.

Microsoft..

SHAME for...

1) not assuasive the download to remain available on the PC for subsequent attempts..

2) leaving a VERY commonly experienced fault in the "Unknown" state..

3) not allowing the media creation tool be an upgrade tool to avert having to re-download over the internet rather than deleting all the users programs with a clean install..

iv) abandoning the software and customers who naively believed and followed your lead in making Microsoft their OS..  I've been with MS from DOS through Win 3, 95, 98, XP, 2000, vii, viii.i..  what a dope I've been..

What the heck has MS done with their quality command.  Why take they no shame releasing products untested, why are they not ashamed of using their customers time to examination their products and then try to tell the world it's gratis while holding those same customers bribe for products they've already paid for many times over?

SHAME..

For the loss of network bandwidth across the country and the power consumption equally millions of PCs are overheated working so hard to download, copy and install...  Many thousands on the web blogs point their PCs overheat, error out and leave them to start all over again from scratch.  The power costs associated with re-re-running the downloads and updates so many times, not to mention the and so paying the air conditioning costs to remove the excess heat generated in the domicile and function buildings!

Microsoft bills themselves equally a "dark-green" company..  NOT!
